Recipe: Your own, healthy Egg McMuffin lookalike

Let’s be honest: we all crave fastfood like foods at times. And sometimes, even in the early morning. But staying strong, I never give in to this urge and have a healthy breakfast. If I do want something that comes close though,  I make my own healthyfied version of an Egg McMuffin. You can make just one, or as many as you like. And it doesn’ t require a lot of work!

What do you need?
β–  English Muffins (got mine at Marks & Spencer)
β–  Eggs
β–  Salt and Pepper
β–  Grated cheese
β–  A Muffin tray
β–  (Optional: Bacon)

Follow these easy steps to your Egg McMuffin:

1: Preheat the oven to 200Β° Celsius.
2: Lightly oil the muffin tray (only the amount of holes you are using).
3: Break the eggs and put one egg in each muffin tray hole.
4: Sprinkle some salt and pepper on the eggs.
5: Put into the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
6: Slice the muffins in half and put them into the oven the last 2 minutes.
7: Take it all out of the oven and put the eggs on the muffins.
8: Add the cheese and maybe bacon on top.

Then you are ready to enjoy your healthier Egg McMuffin!
