Inspiration: Chia pudding

Chia seeds are one of the current trending foods and they are very versatile in the way you can use them. Because of their ability to soak up fluids and them creating a kind of jelly around themselves you can easily make a out pudding of them. Just let them soak overnight and you will have a lovely pudding in the morning. You will have a tasty, healthy and filling breakfast. The possibilities are endless as you can bring any flavor you want to it.

To make one serving, you need:
โ—2 or 3 tablespoons chia seeds
โ—1/2 cup milk to your liking

If you use 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, the pudding is still a bit think and if you use 3 tablespoons it will have a thicker consistency. You can choose whichever you like most. For milk, you can use regular, soy, almond or coconut. Stir the milk and seeds very well before putting them in the refridgerator to soak. Let them soak for at least 6 hours. You can eat the pudding cold or you can put it in the microwave for a minute to a minute and a half to heat it.

Personally, I have made the pudding with vanilla extract, wild peach and yoghurt coated cashews. Another version was with cacao powder and raspberries. Both were really nice!
Of course, there are many many more things you can add to it.

What is your favorite chia pudding combination?

Love, Emily
